LESSONS ZONE

‘Guitar Lessons Pro’ is a series of guitar lessons designed for Windows. They come in folders for you to download. The average size for a single lesson folder is 60 megabytes Once downloaded, double click the folder to open it and find the red “Open Lesson” file. Click on it to open the lesson.

Choose between Kids Lessons, Beginners, Fingerstyle, Lead Guitar, Flat-picking and Open Tuning, and “More Lessons.” 

The lessons are designed for those who have never played guitar and know nothing about music. The lessons use no musical notation of any kind. The lessons start from the basics and move on to more advanced techniques. Many people do not want to take formal music lessons and are not interested in learning how to read music. This course is for those who want to learn to play the guitar by ear.

In the Practice Zone you will find 419 midi backtracks and 1065 song files with chords, written out in Microsoft Word format. All the backtracks are in the the song files, so you can go and see which ones are familiar to you.

We suggest that you install “Van Basco’s Karaoke Player”. It allows you to play the midi backtracks in any key, change the speed, and mute any channel. Great to practice with! Simply click on the “vkaraoke” icon in the accompanying folder.
