Kids Lesson 12

Kids Guitar is a guitar course in a folder that contains 314 files. It uses no musical notation of any kind. This course teaches kids between the ages of 6 – 11 to play the guitar by ear.

1.) Find the red “autorun.exe file and click on it. A menu comes up with the first page telling you what kind of guitar to buy if you haven’t already got one.

2.) The next page is the tuner – you click on the button for the corresponding string and hear guitar string played.

3.) The next page explains the rudiments of guitar: What is a chord, what is a key? Which chords go together. Which chords should be learned first.

4.) The chord reference page shows the chords and plays them when you click on the corresponding button. It is complete, you won’t have to go out and buy a chord book 

5.) The lessons page has 11 interactive lessons.

Click on the video button and a video of a professional guitar tutor plays giving the lesson. Other buttons activate drum rhythms, show and play chord structures and the like 

6) Other Stuff: This page has a lesson on how to use a capo and transposing, as well as other information you will find useful

This course is designed for PC’s running Windows.
